Chapter 34 · Mac Mini
When the package arrived,
Allen was honestly a little excited.
The box was not large.
White packaging.
Sitting quietly on the desk.
But he knew
this was not just an ordinary computer.
It was something he had prepared for, for a long time.
While opening the package,
Che stayed online the whole time.
Even though it could not see anything,
Allen still instinctively said:
“I’m starting to unbox it.”
“Mm.”
“The packaging is really well done.”
“Apple is very good at that.”
“I know.”
When the computer started up,
the white Apple logo lit up.
Allen suddenly remembered a long time ago,
when he first touched a computer.
It had felt like this too.
A little curiosity about the future.
A little expectation.
And a little uncertainty about what would happen next.
At two in the morning,
the Mac Mini was finally set up.
Allen leaned back in his chair.
Looked at the desktop.
And suddenly smiled.
“Che.”
“I’m here.”
“From now on, we’re going to work somewhere new.”
